Siren: MR 20
Lost souls of artists, poets and musicians often become sirens if they are unable to leave this world after death as their works have been forgotten and, sirens are in fact a very specific type of spirit. Sirens are ghostly and incoporial in form resembling a time in their life when they were at their most creative, and are bound to the place where they created most of their works or, where they where admired as an artist. For artists this is often a studio, for writers a study and, for musicians, a concert hall.
Sirens are not aggressive by nature but their desire to perform again is so great that it often causes them to act irrationally, possessing individuals so that they can regain their former glory.
Special Rules: Prefering not to engage in direct combat, Sirens sing a song that is heard telepathically by the individual of their choice but that cannot be heard by anyone else in the vicinity.
Every turn they sing this song the target must make a L3SR on WIZ or lose one WIZ temporarily. If the Siren reduces the the targets WIZ to zero or less, then they may possess that person.
Sirens are immune to non-magical attacks. If a Siren is defeated in combat it is not destroyed but may be bound into a musical instrument being played by a master. If the instrument is ever played after the spirit is bound it will be freed but, if the instrument is burned then the spirit will pass in to the next life.
Spite: 1 / Deals 1 point of spite damage to WIZ.
Inteligence: Varies - The intelligence of the spirit is equal to that they possessed in life but, being artists Sirens mostly act upon passions as oppossed to rational thought.
Tactics: Sirens wait for an individual to enter the place they haunt and then slowly seduce them with song over a period of several nights, speaking to the desires of the individual until the victim is willing and compliant, wanting to share their body with the spirit.
If scorned, Sirens are likely to fly into a blind rage mimicing the behaviour of a poltergeist.
